The Genealogy Department has published Volume 2 of "Deaths Reported In Taney County Newspapers".  There are more than 1200 names reported in death notices and obituaries from 1908-1917.  You can order one by calling Doreen at 417-546-4659, the cost is $15.00 plus shipping of $3.00.  You can also purchase one at the Forsyth Library or via credit card securely with Google Checkout:

  The Genealogy Department is also looking for volunteers to read old newspapers.  This can be done at your home or at the Forsyth Library.
